found a shel on the beach, at first thought it was silver(stein)

maybe
it is the beginning
of a catastrophe,
something
that is intended to be

in the absence of a letter,
a faint glow
something celestial
like a white rose,
resting beside
your window

“you are beautiful”
something that you’d forever hear,
but never know how to hold—
stronger then metal,
yet softer than gold

the ocean between your eyelids
are too salty for the rose—
i will always wonder why you weep,
but whisper to it “grow”
